It is worth considering that the neckline of your clothing may influence the type of pendant that you want to choose. V-neck and lower necklines are ideal for longer length pendants. For a quite simple outfit with plain blocks of colour a bright and vibrant pendant is the ideal choice, if your outfit however has more of a pattern then you may want to consider something a little simpler. Longer pendants also work well with the simple lines of a turtleneck sweater. Silver pendants can look particularly striking against a darker garment.

Body shape

Just as skin tone can influence the colours that you pick, certain body types suit different pendant styles. Some body shapes, such as hourglass, are more suited to shorter pendant as these will sit better against the body. Those women who have a more athletic figure will find that a longer length pendant will really enhance the lines of their body. Shorter women may also find that a shorter pendant suits them better than something that is longer, as again, it will sit better, rather than unintentionally making them look a little shorter.
